beautifull stroll

Hello ya' ll,

Have been MIA lately. So sorry, we had visits over from Portugal, wedding, baptism and work has been crazy busy, coming home late. And P and me decided at night I should spend a bit more on the couch and snuggle up to him instead of being occupied by my computer :-).

The weather has been absolutely amazing, with so much sun and clear sky every thing is more beautifull. Grey old buildings are no longer depressing. With our friends we had a nice stroll in town, here are some pics I took! Haarlem has a large canal passing through. Bridges opening an closing, always an amazing site.

ps. the icecream cup from Garrone, well let me tell ya, best icecream salon in Haarlem. Only open in the summer, run by an Italian family. A must have, should you ever visit Haarlem. I am not a huge ice cream fan, but for them I will leave my bed in the middle of the night:-)

Confetti

A while ago Lenneke from Lennebelle opened a pop up shop called Confetti (love the name!) in Rotterdam together with several other amazing artists such as

* Iefke de Roos (handmade, handdeyed clothes, scarfs & bags)
* Elke van den Berg (unique porcelain cups, bowls & buttons)
* Lennebelle (fine silver & gold plated jewellery)
* Mari(e) (awesome everyday leather shoppers)
* Miga de Pan (pretty knitting from Adriana from Buenos Aires)
* De Draad (to brighten up your kitchen, handwoven towels and more)
* Niche (for the love of fresh flowers)

Unfortunately for me I will not be able to go there, but luckily there is a online shop. Which will stay open after the pop shop closes. I am secretely eyeing a ring by Twinklebird, a golden or silver one with a heart. So pretty!

The shop is open until the 27th of May. So if you can, you should pass by. You can like them here.

Have a look! These amazing pics have been made by Lenneke herself and Sophia.

Cut out

Yesterday I went for a little stroll around town running some errands. I passed by a lovely shop called Sjakie's Small in the Koningstraat. Every time I enter there is so much to look at. And as usual I can not leave empty handed:-). This time I found a Japanese Cut out book. I cannot read it, fortunately it comes with lots a pictures, so its easy to understand what I need to do. Almost a pity starting to cutting :-)

Nao me mande flores

Another happy "customer" :-) I always worry if my letters arrive, especially this one sent to Brazil. Check her lovely blog (one of my daily reads) here.
